"I know you're jealous, Belinda" :D
So, In case you guys don't know which YOU SHOULD KNOW of it, BAYBEATS 2012 was held at Esplanade Theatre from 29 June - 1 July.
There are three different venue of concerts you can watch for the following 3 days!
The CHILLOUT STAGE (Concourse),The ARENA (Outdoor Threatre), The Powerhouse (The Edge) & The Observation Deck(Library)[meet your favourite bands and see their interviews].
Anyways, if you still don't know what all this is about, is just about "MUSIC"!
Yes, there's local & international bands performing LIVE at different venues.
You would regret like HELL if you missed it!
Here is their website:
Decided to have a 3 days BAYBEATS MARATHON with Xue Qi.
The person who call me do the survey about Baybeats say that I'm so supportive!
Indeed I am! :D
CLICK ON THE MAIN COVER PICTURE OF THE BANDS FOR DESCRIPTION OF THEM Day 1: Xue Qi, Hannah & me went to watch the concert @ the Arena (Outdoor Theatre). The Arena was just fine, more to the indie/soft rock on the first day. And there's still old ah bei eating sandwiches! Seriously!
Obedient Wives Club
This band really try their best to hype the crowd, but failed. HAHAHAH. Their songs are okay okay, quite relaxing. The 2nd girl from the left looks drunk and like acting in those Japanese ghost movie which the girl got haunted. :D I never really pay attention to this band because I've got no seats and I just focus on how tired it is to stand and I just whine about it in my heart. :D
For This Cycle
[TICK TICK TICK]
This band was one of my favourites throughout the 3 day marathon.
I like their song: "For what it's worth"
Ignore the conversation. :)
King Kong Jane
[TICK TICK TICK]
This band is the MOST AWESOME MOST AWESOME MOST AWESOME Indie band!
Totally my type of genre!

Mocca (Indonesia)
[CROSS OUT] This band should really quit their music career like whatthefuck! The girl sing like those disney princess like that. Really should not qualify to join Baybeats, such a disgrace. -.- And the combination of their music RIDICULOUS! -.- Even if you sing so bad and people dislike you like how I dislike Mocca, just don't give up. Because the passion of MUSIC never falls.
Day 2: Xue Qi & me went to watch the concert @ Power House (The Edge)
The Powerhouse's atmosphere very high, and the crowd are super super super alot towards the night.
You can totally feel the craziness of the crowd!
You would feel like you're going to be deaf in the next second but you wouldn't care because the music was awesome.
Embrace Them Ghosts
This band got alot of fans!
I was shocked by the fan's actions and the demonic high feeling of Heavy Metal.
This was the feeling of Powerhouse and rock band, seriously!!!
The blasting of music was loud and heavy, but I did enjoy it as it was my first time experiencing.
Fans/Supporters came down to support Embace Them Ghosts.
I was shocked that the group of supporters create a circle space for themselves to dance in the middle of Powerhouse. :O
P.S. To all the supporters, yes you can dance, but don't dance and kick the small pebbles/stones on the floor onto me. Because is fucking annoying and painful. :D
PLOT (Thailand)
[TICK TICK TICK]
I love this band because is from Thailand!
And also the music was creative too.
But too bad during the performance, there's technical problem.(wonder is it purposely or what -.-)
Also, the band was fighting with the NDP Rehersal fireworks & songs next door.
What the fuck, such a shame. -.-
The vocalist's voice like the vocalist in Suckseed the thai movie leh!
He like anyhow sing sing one. HAHAHAHAH, not true.

[TICK TICK TICK]
This band really make the crowd dance lorh.
It's like so comedy and adorable!
I like the bands' unique-ness, just that I'm so not in the mood of enjoying because my leg was painful due to my pretty

The Great Spy Experiment
[TICK TICK TICK]
I quit watching the concert because my leg pain was unbearable.
But even at where I sat near the river resting, I can hear their fabulous music.
And from what I heard from Xue Qi after the concert, she said it was AWESOME.

If you were not there, you had missed out the atmosphere of ROCK.
Day 3: XueQi, Hannah, Rachel & me jump concerts!
HAHAHAHAH, we went to both Powerhouse & Arena. Peptalk (Arena) The band very cute leh. I can see that they're so nervous but they never break down and try to stay calm.(Y)(Y)(Y) Somemore, the idea of their song very cute: like mental issues for example? :D And the most touching part is their family members came down to support them & cheered all the best for them. Nothing worth more than family. :) (PowerHouse) They got alot of supporters like Embrace Them Ghosts. Is it the power of heavy metal which makes people fall in love with them? I never like heavy metal but well, listening to it won't kill. But, but, but, I really feel like I'm going to be deaf any moment when I hear those RoArRrrrrrr of the vocalists & audience. [TICK TICK TICK] (Arena) This band is very charming! HAHAHAH. And the vocalist voice like chinese-american type. Eventhough I had to stand because there's no seats, I still enjoy their songs. Somemore, I watch the whole concert through the crews' camera. Such an experience. :D
In Each Hand A Cutlass
(Powerhouse)
The band quite boring to what I think, because it's all instrumental.
I agreed that I really has no great taste and picky about music.
So, I left half-way throughout the concert.
Cockpit (Arena) [CROSS-OUT] The so called "God of Metal" band. HAHAHAH. I don't really like the vocalist voice honestly. And they were so dramatic like they're superheros/saviour of the world. They think they're the "God of Metal", I think they're a joke. HAHAHAH. Start Of The Day (Japan) (Arena) [TICK TICK TICK] The music was as loud as Powerhouse one, and the vocalist voice very very very high. Like Whitney Houston singing anime songs. HAHAHAH. I really enjoy the band's performance but sometimes I really need to cover my ears because the music is way too loud. Credits: Live4MusiCsg M - U - S - I - C , the sound that embraces our soul and spoke out our emotions. Watched 14 bands performance for just 3days! ♡-♡-♡ -- Sawadee --
